What began in 1924 as Florence Ellson’s modest guesthouse overlooking the water has grown through generations into one of the island's best-loved places to stay. Today, The Ellson enters a new chapter as a boutique bayside hotel honouring its heritage while also offering contemporary accommodation in the heart of Kingscote. The tradition remains unchanged: genuine welcome, thoughtful hospitality, and everything you need to relax as you explore this wonderful place we call home.
